Welcome aboard the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway! Sit back, relax, and explore the beautiful mountain scenery of Pennsylvania from the one-of-a-kind autumn views that only our train can offer. Our friendly train crew will entertain and educate passengers on the history of the area, the railway, Lehigh Gorge State Park, and the plentiful native wildlife. Your scenic rail journey will follow the majestic Lehigh River as you marvel at the high-rising cliffs, mountain scenery, and lush forests along the route to Old Penn Haven and return. All trains are equipped with clean restrooms, and are heated during the winter months.
Please note that there are NO advance sales for Autumn Leaf trains (09/26/2026 - 11/15/2026) departing 4:00pm or later. All tickets for such trains must be purchased on the same day, in person, at the ticket booth in Jim Thorpe on a first-come/first-serve basis. An exception will be made for groups of twenty-five (25) or more passengers. Such groups must call 570-325-8485 (select option #1) 8:30am - 5:00pm daily to book.
Please plan to arrive at least one hour prior to your scheduled departure to allow time for parking.
